About This Tea

Lapsang Souchong, the originator of red tea worldwide, is produced in the National Nature Reserve of Wuyi Mountain in Fujian, China. Its distinctive pine-smoked aroma and longan-like sweetness stem from the traditional "smoking process" in wooden houses, creating a unique and unparalleled quality.

Brewing Method:

  • Recommended Teaware: White porcelain gaiwan or purple clay teapot

  • Water Temperature: 90℃/194

  • Amount of Tea: 5 grams

  • Brewing Steps:

    1. Warm the teaware to enhance its temperature.

    2. Add tea leaves, pour in hot water, and quickly rinse the tea to awaken its flavor.

    3. Pour water again, steep for 3-5 seconds, and then serve. Subsequent infusions can be slightly longer.
